Mark remained at home in England, and thought that rest would heal the injury, and it seems strange that the medical staff did not for see the injury not healing at this stage. It is projected, by Dave Jones of Wolves, that he will miss the first two months of the Nationwide Div. I season. Steve Finnan adds to the injury list

Steve Finnan will miss tonight’s InterToto Cup semi-final first-leg clash with French side Sochaux at Loftus Road. The Republic of Ireland and Fulham right back has just recovered from concussion, which he received on the training ground. However it has now been reported that he has twisted his ankle badly, and it is not known yet how long he will be out for.
