Stack off to Belgium & Brenn nets for the Toon

Graham Stack to Belgium. Only for loan that is!

Arsenal and Republic of Ireland U21 Goalkeeper Graham Stack has gone on loan to Belgian Club “Beveren” for season 02-03’. With the sale of the Gunners Richard Wright to Everton, and Seaman due to hang up his boots in the not-so-distant future, this may just be the tonic that Stack needs to gain more experience, and cement his place in the Gunners first team. Stack born in 1981 of London Irish decent, is regarded as a superb shot-stopper, and was a major player in Arsenals 2002 FA Youth Cup victory.

Stephen Brennan, Magpie

Republic of Ireland U19 international and Newcastle reservist Stephen Brennan , netted for the Magpies in last nights 1-5 victory over Workington Reds, a part-time Uni-Bond League outfit. Brennan scored the fifth on 80 odd minutes, with Magpie colleagues Ameobi on target with a hat trick, and Bradley the other. Brennan, the former St Josephs Boys player from Dublin, is highly rated at St James Park as an excellent midfielder with a huge future ahead of him
