Phiadelphia was the rock music capital of the world with teen idols from the streets of the city and a national teen dance show beamed into livingrooms across the nation every afternoon at 3pm.

Hosted by a young disc jockey the television show American Bandstand became an America institution and it's young host Dick Clark a part of television history

This strange story was told by Dick Clark; while walking down a hall in the old WFIL studios at around 11 am Dick Clark saw a co- worker who had been extremely ill, Dick asked him how he was feeling, the man said that he was not completely up to par.

A few nights later Dick had seen the man's son at a social gatherng, he told the man that he had seen his father at the studio at 11am, the son stated that it could not have been his father because on that day and hour that Dick had said he had seen him, the father had been on a operating table and his heart had stopped.
