Rag doll, soft, new and bright,
wide-eyed children eagerly hug you,
smearing chocolate on your dress.
Rag doll in the bottom of the bed,
watch the children play with their new bike,
but at night you're in the bed.
Rag doll, they push you,
pull you, tear at your limbs,
it doesnt matter - you're just a rag doll.
Rag doll on top of the wardrobe,
looking down at the noisy train set,
they dont even look up at you.
Rag doll, tatty in a box,
no one picks you up to play,
nobody wants a rag doll.
