ENID IS BACK!!!! original bassist Enid Williams has rejoined Girlschool after 18 years!

Girlschool just recently played a gig at Venue27 in Luton, England on October 5th, 2000.

Kim MacAuliffe was also in another band called 'Born To Be Girls with Lisa Davies and Lydie Gallies (drummer for Strange Girls, the band girlschool did gigs with with Toyah Wilcox), and have made quite the name for themselves in the biker scene playing various summer rallies. Born To Be Girls is a cover band, done strictly for fun, covering ac/dc, Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix tunes.

Kim MacAuliffe's birthday is on May 13th.

Kelly Johnson's birthday is on June 20th.

Kelly Johnson was in a band with ex-Go Go's Kathy Valentine in the late 80's/early 90's entitled 'World's Cutest Killers'.They were not as heavy as Girlschool but not as pop as the Go Go's... Girlschool recently played Kents Biker Festival, just putside London....

There is a highly collectable live bootleg on red vinyl from a gig in Apeldoorn, Holland, while Girlschool still played under the name 'Painted Lady' and performed such classics as AC/DC's 'Live Wire' and ZZ Top's 'Tush', as well as original compositions like Furniture Fire, Take It All Away and Nothing To Lose...

Kim and Enid teamed up with punker Toyah Willcox under the name 'She Devils' for a gig for a Women's In Music festival in London (at Shaw Theatre, December 8, 1990). A year later they toured under the name 'Strangegirls' in July and August 91', and a second time in May 92'. They wrote some material together (which unfortunatly wasn't recorded) and did many live shows playing Girlschool and Toyah classics. They did a session for GLR (Greater London Radio) and performed two songs they had written together entitled 'Woman I Am' and 'My Life Has Just Begun', and Toyah recorded a song that they performed live called 'Lust For Love', which was included in one of her solo albums. They have not done anything together since...

The Running Wild track, "Nowhere To Run" appears on the Reform School Girls Soundtrack and Hit & Run's "Race With The Devil appears in the film, Zombie Nightmare...

Girlschool has performed with Toyah Wilcox under the name 'Strange Girls on Friday, August 2, 1991 at The Borderline"...
