My friend Tim is as bald as a cue ball. He was not always bald.Infact up to recently he had a thick full head of curly brown hair.Let me go back to the beginning.

It was during the Australian Open that we were both watching,I made a comment about Patrick Rafter,s long hair. Tim retorted "You probably think he should shave it like you and your man Andre."I chuckled "He sure could use a haircut.!" Well, Tim agreed, but said "You will never see him getting rid of that signature ponytail let alone shave his head.If that ever came to be I would shave my head bald like yours." I just snickered. Nothing else was said as we watched the tournament.

Well, as they what goes around comes around. And recently Rafter did have his head shaved. But I never expected my freind Tim to shave his head. He and I were planning to go out on a Friday nite. He asked me to meet him at his usual barber.I did not think anything usnual about this.

For Tim regularly went on Friday evenings after work.I entered the shop just as Tim was taking the chair.His barber asked "The usual?" Tim floored me and his barber when he said"No take it all off. Shave my head like his!"referring of course to me. The barber asked if he was sure.Tim told him he was and told him why he was geting his head shaved. I said "Tim I cannot believe you are really doingit." He replied "As goes Rafter so go I "

I watched in awe as Tim had his long browb hair buzzed down. Then he weas lathered and shaven as bald as me. Tim rubed his bald head now gleaming in the light. He asked me how I liked it. I told him he looked so different.

When we arrived at our usual place those that knew Tim were shocked to see him sporting a freshly shaven head. I wonder if it will grow on him. He could not keep from rubbing his freshly shaven pate. He would comment "Boy it feels so smooth." I responded "Yes a smooth as a cue ball
