Militant students attack Malacañang by air

Militant members of the Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Manggagawang Pilipino (KAMPI) once again render a unique form of protest as they execute their protest dubbed as "Aerial Assault".

The said group tossed about a thousand paper planes, with the slogans "Resign All!" and "End Trapo Rule!" written on its wings, from Nagtahan fly-over towards the Malacañang Palace in order for them to be heard by President Estrada.

Erwin Puhawan, KAMPI National Chairperson, said "Every time we try to demonstrate near the Presidential Palace, the nearest we could go to is at the Mendiola bridge as all protesters are prevented by the police and the military to get near Malacañang that is supposed to be open for the masses."

"Thus, this creative form of protest. If our planes will not reach the Palace, then, at least it will go beyond the police and military checkpoints. This is how we are at-charge in bringing our sentiments towards this rotten government."

The group also released from the said bridge a parachute bearing the head of Erap symbolizing how the President will fall from the towers to the pavement.

"From the very start of his administration, Erap never considered listening the voice of the masses. Hence, it is the masses, that catapulted him to the presidency, that is now waiting for the moment when they can enjoy watching Erap fall down to the filth."

"What we clamor though is for the Filipino people to be enlightened that it is not only Erap that must be trashed to the rubbish. If we want good government, it should not be headed by a trapo like our ambitious Vice President.", Puhawan ended. ###
