Condemn the terrorist acts
but oppose US militarist retaliation!

Hacking is not the process of breaking into a computer and causing mayhem. Most methods of doing this can be done by a 12 year old child, by simply compiling and running scripts or programs. Hacking can be best defined by one word; Knowledge. In the early days of the computers, a hacker was one who could program, and do just about anything with a computer. Today, what people believe hackers to be is the fault of the media. What you read in newspapers, what you hear on the news, this is a show of the ignorance spewed from the media. When a site gets taken down, the first words out of their mouths are "it was hackers!". Why? Simply because they need someone to blame. Packetting, virii, trojans; these are not hacking. Hacking is closely related to security. A true hacker is simply a computer expert. One who can program, network, secure, and fully understand how a computer really works. When you know a computer inside and out, you can do just about anything with it. This is learned from reading books, researching, and taking problems into your own hands, looking for solutions.
