Trapolympics 2000 participants parade in Ortigas
In continuation of the Trapolympics 2000, contestants today joined the parade sponsored by Sanlakas held at Ortigas.
The said parade started at the EDSA Shrine through the Strata 200 Building where the Trapolympics competitors were showered with confetti.
According to Erwin Puhawan, KAMPI National Chairperson, "Trapolympics participants Asyong "Coyote" Salonga, Gloria "Road Runner" Arroyo and the rest of the cast of other trapos from different agencies of our government they will again resurface to make a public appearance here at Ortigas together with different sectors namely the students, urban poor, workers and lawyers."
"After this event at Ortigas, the contestants will join another march, a torch parade at the Welcome Rotunda this afternoon. The athletes will also prepare for more parades and sporting events to be scheduled at the Senate in the following weeks. Trapolympics 2000 competitors will continue to make public appearances for the public to know who are these trapos trying to capitalize on the opportunity to grab political power brought about by this political crisis," Puhawan explained.
"Trapolympics events will end on the day when Erap resigns with all the other trapos to give way to for a total cleansing of our political and electoral system." Puhawan ended. #
