Jacob Scarf

This is wool from jacobs sheep. My friend gave me several fleeces in exchange for me making a scarf and probably a belt pouch.

I scoured part of one fleece until it was lanolin free. Then I carded it up with some dog brushes I got at the pet store. I got random color combinations. I think it turned out pretty neat. Then I turned the rolags into roving and wrapped it into a bundle.

I spun it on my spinning wheel. The stitch is UOO/UUOU. I have a few more rows to go before it is done and then I will fringe the end properly.

On to the Next Project
