I mostly collect Faerie cross stitch patterns, though a few other patterns have caught my eye.
I finished Sam Hawkins Dragonfly Faerie in January and I am now preping to start Theresa Wentzler's Winter Faerie. I will be giving updates of my progress on the Theresa Wentzler Bulletin Board in the Seasonal Faeries Forum. Theresa Wentzler's Bulletin Board is open to any cross stitcher, whether you are working on a TW design or not.
July 6, 2000 - I just received Lily Pond Dreams by Black Swan Designs (designed by Karen Weaver). I'm very tempted to add this to my rotation.
July 11, 2000 - I found a copy of Theresa Wentzler's Lily Maiden! Yeah! This is an out of print faerie pattern. Someone had an extra copy so I bought her a dragon pattern from Enchanting Lair in trade. It should be in my mailbox next week. Happy Day! Happy Day! Okay so that makes four faeries I really want to start right now. TWs Winter Faerie (which I will be starting as soon as the fabric arrives), TWs Lily Maiden, Lily Pond Dreams and the Blackwork Faerie from the book Cross Stitch Plus. Need to make a run to the craft store and start putting together thread packets for the other three patterns. <<'sigh'>>
July 29, 2000 - I recieved Enchanting Lair's Hanging the Stars and Bluemoon Fairie by Amy Brown. I am kinda disappointed because the designer didn't use outlining much and the pictures of the finished cross stitch design are not anywhere near as pretty as Amy Brown's artwork. I am going to have to fiddle with the chart and add outlining myself. Then they should be VERY pretty.
