My first Boxer, Yasmin, was purchased in 1993. From that very first day I was hooked on this wonderful breed. For years I had wanted a dog, but I wasn't sure which breed. It had to be a medium size dog with a short coat and preferably a short tail. All sorts of different breeds crossed my mind, Rottweillers, Weimariners & Dobermans, then one day I was walking through town and saw a Volks Wagon Beetle driving through an intersection and there was a red & white Boxer hanging out of the window.
