About Me

I am an 18 year old Australian female who is studying at university, and I have just finished my first year. I took an IT course for a semester and now know the basics of making a webpage (as you can see) so I decided to create a page dedicated to an idol of mine .. I have been a fan of the Spice Girls and of Melanie C since they began, and I love Melanie's solo work too.

I am also into some other pop and alternative music, I like the Beatles, the Verve, Beck, Robbie Williams, Garbage, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, Oasis, Bardot, Madison Avenue, Foo Fighters, Bjork, Tom Jones, the solo Spice releases from the other girls and others. I also like talking to people, having conversations and discussions, I like sports and partying and meeting people and spending time with friends.

Some of the info on this page is my opinion, some of it is an interpretation of what I see of the Spice Girls in the media and some is fact that I have heard come straight from Melanie's mouth (on tv, I don't know her) or that has been published in reputable sources (like the official Spice and Melanie C publications). I like her because of the music, but I also admire strong, proud women and she comes across as a good person. But at the end of the day, all that matters is the music so all the people who are out there to criticise her or anyone else, you know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you know, so don't knock it....
