*This is a story about 4 people named EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY and NOBODY. There was an important job to be done and EVERYBODY was asked to do it. EVERYBODY was sure that SOMEBODY would do it. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it. SOMEBODY got very angry about that 'coz it was EVERYBODY's job. EVERYBODY thought that ANYBODY could do it, but NOBODY realised that EVERYBODY wouldn't do it. It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have done.

*It takes courage...
To refrain from gossip when others about you delight in it.
To stand up for an absent person who is being abused.
To live honestly within your means and not dishonestly on the means of others.
To be talked about and yet remain silent when a word would justify you in the eyes of others but which you cannot speak without injury to another
To be a real man, a true woman, by holding fast to your ideals when it causes you to be looked upon as strange and peculiar
To refuse to do a thing which is wrong, though ohers desire it
To always live according to your convictions.

*You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift,
You cannot strengthn the weak by weakening the strong,
You cannot help the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer,
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich,
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn,
You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence,
You cannot help man permanently by doing for him what he could and should be doing for himself.

* Worst Way To Break Up
Near to the door, he paused to stand
As he took his class ring off her hand
All who were watching did not speak
As a silent tear ran down his cheek
And through his mind the memories ran
Of the moment then walked and ran in the sand, hand-in-hand
But now her eyes were so terribly cold
For he would never again have her to hold
They watched in silence as he bent near
And whispered the words 'I Love You' in her ear
He touched her face and started to cry
As he put on his ring and wanted to die
And just then the wind began to blow
As they lowered her casket into the snow
This is what happens to man alive
When friends let friends drink and drive.
