My Opinion

Racism is everywhere. In every town, in every state, in every country, racism is there, whether we care to admit it or not. I feel strongly about the issue of racism, and discrimination of any kind.

Racism..and discimination are wrong. We cannot judge people based on what they look like, the colour of their skin or what they think/feel. Just because we have a problem with someone of a certain race, doesn't mean that everyone is like that. Each person in the world is different, with their own looks, actions, thoughts, feelings and opinions.

Judging someone by the colour of the skin, thoughts/opinions/feelings, family, age, culture/beliefs or for any other reason is wrong. We need to look beyond all that and see that person for who they really are. We cannot judge people unless we know them, and even then we should keep our thoughts to ourself.

It would be better to live in a world of love and peace, than in a world of hate and war. If everyone was exactly the same, the world would be a pretty boring place to live in. Look past the physical/mental differences between people and see that we are all the same - we all belong to the same race, no matter what the colour of our skin - the human race.

I think this quote sums everything up:

"Laundry is the only thing that should be separated by colour"

If we all accept this as being true, we take a step closer to making the world a happier place for us all to live in - a world without racism and discrimination - a world we can feel extrememly proud to be a part of.
