I thought this issue's theme, “Top Seven Lists,” would have generated a huge volume of submissions. I was wrong. All people love to create lists of their favorite (or not so favorite) things, but only the truly bold and brave choose to submit them. Here are the lists of eight people. These lists will make you think, laugh, and possibly even change your lifestyle (or maybe just laugh as you’re thinking about changing your lifestyle). Anyway, after hounding people for submissions and extending deadlines, I eventually sat on this issue for seven months. Top seven, seven months—there’s nothing symbolic, it’s just a coincidence. Having a life and editing an e-journal do not willingly go hand in hand, so to all the featured writers in this issue, I’m sorry I’m slow. It’s a sad state of publishing truth, but I hope you all enjoy the lists nonetheless.
Have a great summer,
Ryan Davis
