History

Autumn 2000
Sitting at our kitchen table drinking tea with Angie and I, Kate Gresham brings up the term "memory cue" to suggest that events we witness in life can cause other memories to enter our minds. I think that this is an excellent name for the online journal I’d like to create, so I use it.

December 2000
The call for submissions goes out.

April 6, 2001 (Japan Standard Time)
The first issue of Memory Cue is published. The topic of the first issue is Food. I tried to publish the first issue on April Fool's Day, but it just didn't happen. To quote Mark Twain, "The first of April is the day we remember what we are like the other 364 days of the year." In my case--late.

September 30, 2001 (Japan Standard Time)
The second issue of Memory Cue is published. The topic of the second issue is Family Vacations.

July 7, 2002 (Pacific Daylight Time)
The third issue of Memory Cue is published. The topic of the third issue is Top Seven Lists.
