Sum 41 With special guests, Not By Choice

All Killer No Filler. And baby, that is not just the name of their new record, it is a state of mind. The songs SUM 41 have written are not about rainbows or unicorns. No vegan recipes are included in the liner notes. You will not hear songs about games of tiddlywinks or the sweet summer breezes. Satan himself likes the record. Get the picture? After touring extensively throughout the USA and Canada with Vans Warped Tour, Summersault, Offspring, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc, SUM 41 are now seasoned professionals, seasoned musicians and seasoned shitheads – perhaps you heard of their interactions with bands on the road? 10-01-01 Blink 182 Loves Sum 41

As the year-end charts keep coming in, Sum 41 were honoured by fellow punkers Blink 182. When asked what were the bands top 10 albums of the year 2000, Mark Hoppus, bassist for Blink, named Sum 41's "Half Hour of Power" as his second favourite record of 2000. Coďncidence? No. **taken from the dkd site**

Sum 41 Destroys Studio in Fit of Rage

It seems that controversy has once again crossed paths with the boys from Sum 41. According to reports leaked from LA, Deryck Whibley was so upset about his inability to play a guitar part that he got into a fight with the wall and "ripped" wooden strips off in a fit of anger. A unidentified source, who claims to be close to Whibley, reported that the wall won the fight and that Derryck had to apologize and nail the wooden strips back on. Sum 41 are currently in L.A. with producer Jerry Finn putting the final touches on their upcoming record. The album is slated to rock. They'll also be in Toronto for one night, to perform a gig on Dec. 28 at the El Mocambo.

A message from the head Asses, in Assland. Hey everyone. Sorry we haven’t wrote to you guys in a while, but we’ve been touring a lot. We finally just got a lap top so we can check e-mails from the road now. We just finished our tour with face to face through the states. That was great, it was all west coast shows. And yesterday was the first day of our tour with the Mighty Mighty bosstones. It was kick ass show. We don’t have any canadian dates booked yet but we will soon. We ‘re also going back into the studio to finish our new record in november. It won’t be coming out until march though. Anyways we’ll see you all sometime. Thanks, assman
