THE most wonderful Goth comic in the world! Well, in Australia at least; probably. It's about a group of Goths in a band, their roadies and fans. Though now they're dead, which makes for surprisingly interesting reading.

I find the initials of this zine quite funny, but then that's probably just me. This used to be called Kill the real Grrrls, but has now had a name change and seems to be a bit more of a contributor rag. Issue one sees articles on: Women in Mythology, Diana Rigg, Valentines Day (a rip roaring little rant), the Active Bitch Front and Etta James (who incidentally is the exact same age as Diana Rigg - isn't that spooky). It also contains a bob and glob of other bits and pieces: Letters (letter) to the Editor, someone's uni homework, Australia Day, an interview with Sara from Nitocris, female rocker chicks, more Songs of Empowerment, a thing on how to beat up guys, more bits and bobs, Everything a Teenage Girl Should Know, and Music Reviews.
It's a nice read, so please be a nice person and send off a nice letter to the nice people asking for a copy of their nice zine. And if I say it's great, well then we all know that it is, right. Oh yes, I guess you would call it a Feminist zine, most of the content comes under that banner, so that's the sort of thing you can expect.
Also if you live or find yourself in Melbourne don't forget to tune into Pretty Ugly radio Monday nights from 8 to 10, 3 S S R - 94.1 F. M.

This is a lovely little gem, where it's the middle of the 80's all year round. I can't say I've read many 'devoted to the 80's' zines before, but this is definitely the best there is. Hmm, that didn't come out quite like it was supposed to... oh well.... This would be in the top five zines I've read all year. Mind you, I haven't thought of what the other four are, so I guess this is technically coming in at first place. Get a copy - it's good!!
