Gx Webzine was created in November of 2000. Its creator, S. C. Potter, worked single handedly on the very first issue and as interest in the webzine progressed each quarter, she took on new voluntary editors and staff members monthly. Today Gx Webzine has over 10 volunteer editors and staff members and this number is growing rapidly as the webzine becomes more and more popular.

Gx Webzine is generated towards the Generation X reader. In its beginnings, it was published only on a quarterly basis. However, the interest in Gx Webzine has become rather explosive. The increase of hits per day to its website became so great that the demand for more great content soon pushed Gx Webzine into a monthly publishing market. Gx Webzine now publishes monthly excluding holidays and the month of December.

Gx Webzine has gone through some monumental changes in the first year of its creation. It has had to battle with building a reliable staff, and finding great content that interests the Generation X reader. Gx Webzine is still in its infancy but it has showed some amazing maturity in the product it publishes to its readers.
