-Oh-zay: Our sound is thrash, death, berserk, emo, pop, music people can bone to.
-Bobby: I would have to say that our sound is thrash, death, and harcore.
-WSWZ: Who are your influences?
-Oh-zay: As a band we are influenced heavily by Charles Bronson, Spazz, Quill, Kungfu Rick, and Slayer. Individually we clash with our own influences. Personally my influences range from Bronson to Ween to Chino XL.
-Bobby: Basically I listen to everything. I like Spazz, Assuck, A.C., Bronson, Crisis, Deicide, Brian Setzer, Louis Armstrong, Reverand Horton Heat, Method Man, and Beethoven. My influences go towards Spazz, Bronson, Quill, and Los Crudos.
-Mike: My influences would most probably be from Spazz, Charles Bronson, Kungfu Rick, and Quill, you know, shit like that. But my listening pleasures can vary from good old fashioned rock, to some bumpin tunes.
-WCWZ: What are you thoughts on relgion?
-Oh-zay: I think everyone has the right to believe in their religion. As far as any anti-religious message people want to put across in their music, I think people have the right, but often focus too much on bashing Christianity when there is a cornicopia of religions to choose from.
-Mike: I think people should have something or someone to believe in or else.... well, I just think people should believe in something.
-Bobby: Well for starters, I dont like religion to begin with. I do agree with Oh-zay though. People tend to criticize God and Jesus way too much. It's like people do it just for fun. Screaming I HATE GOD!!! will get you no where. People have to realize that being anti-religious is more than just drawing inverted crosses on your English notebook. Religion itself is a horrible thing. If people are going to put down religion, they shouldn't hate religion individually, they should hate all religion.
-WCWZ: What are you thoughts on sexism?
-Oh-zay: I think sexism is alot of bull. But similar to religion it is often viewed in only one light. Sexism is everywhere and can effect anyone be it male or female.
-Bobby: Yeah, I think alot of times when people refer to sexism they automatically think of women. It should be recognized that sexism exists in both genders.
-Mike: People are dumb, and I think we should have the freedom to say whatever the fuck we want, and people shouldn’t take it the wrong way.
-WCWZ: What are you thoughts on racism?
-Oh-zay: Racism is a whole lotta bull skillet. I think the root of the problem is in house racism. Until we can get people to stop refering to members of their own race as "white trash, nigger, wet-back" etc. we will not be able to get members of other races to stop doing it.
-Bobby: Racism is wrong and hopefully someday the hatred will stop. I feel that if you want racism to stop, then you must learn to forget. I hear people all the time say that the color of our skin doesn't mean anything and that we are all equal but then you turn on the T.V. and you hear someone say "whats wrong with acting black?" Now if we are all equal then there should be no "acting black" it should just be acting HUMAN! Also, people tend to bring up the slavery days. There is no stopping racism if people always bring up the negatives. The best thing for us to do is to look towards the future and try to forget the past.
-Mike: Everyone is stupid when it comes to this subject, so I can care less.
-WCWZ: Do you find that religion, sexism, and racism are becoming cliche topics within the hardcore scene?
-Oh-zay: I think those issues can be played to death. Anyone can scream religion sux or fuck racism or sexism is wrong. But once and a while a band does something really good with these topics.
-Mike: People think too much, and they should just learn to have fun.
-Bobby: Alot of bands these days are focusing thier lyrics around racism, religion, and sexism. Its not that it's a bad thing, it's just that all bands are doing it now. Its good to get the message across, but you don't want to over do it.
-WCWZ: Name one thing you like and one thing you dislike about the hardcore scene.
-Oh-zay: When I first started going to hardcore shows I really liked how all the bands sort of stuck together. Everyone was on everybody else's comp., they were selling each others records, and playing together. What I really hate is the pure eliteism. People traveling in packs never entertaining the thought of accepting others. If you don't have huge X's all over your clothes, or a back-pack, or a million pinned patches, you don't fit in. At least thats how I see it. Maybe it's just me.
-Bobby: One thing I like about the hardcore scene is seeing alot kids getting up and doing something. Whether it's starting a band or making a zine etc... What I don't like is alot of the attitude you get from other people. Like Oh-zay said, "if you don't have X's on your hands, then you don't fit in." I agree with him alot on that one. I will be at a show and people will give me this dirty look like "what the hell am I doing here." I don't think that is right.
-Mike: I like the music and the people, and I hate the people.
-WCWZ: What do you think of the politcally correct movement?
-Oh-zay: I got no problem with being P.C. or nothing but I think you gotta joke sometimes and often jokes become misinterpreted as being something more.
-Mike: It’s all shit, why can’t we say what we want to?
-Bobby: I don't really have a problem with being P.C. either but it really makes things limited. People can't really say things anymore. Even if it is just a joke.
-WCWZ: What release do you have out now and what are the future plans for THABTO?
-Oh-zay: Right now THABTO has a split with the Holy Whores on Afro Pubes Records. We got some tracks on "Music for the Little guys" comp. on Teen Wolf Records. Also, we have an off the hook cut on "Cheap Ass Vol. 1" on Cheap Ass Records.
-Bobby: Yeah that's all we have for right now. We are also on a comp. put out by Afro Pubes. We are trying to record a CD sometime soon.
-Mike: Yeah what they said!
