FOX premiered American High in August of 2000.  3 weeks later, Fox canceled American High and extended Futurama to an hour.  8 months later, PBS gave the show a home.  You will be able to see American High on PBS, Wednesdays at 10PM ET/PT followed by an on-line chat at 11PM ET/8PM PT.

During September 1999-June 2000, two camera crews followed 14 students at Highland Park High School (a school outside of Chicago). The students were also given cameras, and kept "video diaries" of their lives.
