RIP: Mr Mom

Google Fight re-visited - a year ago  I noticed the term "At-Home Dad" finally edged out "Mr Mom " 484,000 to 452,000 in google search comparing the two.  I've checked back now and then and have noticed this morning check shows Mr Mom being outnumbered 350 to 17. (Different search criteria I know but the ratio is there)

Sure the references will still be used but It is nice to see such a sticky lable finally being left in the dust by the x-gen reporters and bloggers.

To be fair, I think most of the references to "Mr. Mom" these days are either ironic or about how stupid a term it is. Or maybe I just don't hear it from here -- I'm out in San Francisco, where my lifestyle choice barely raises an eyebrow.
