This time I have done Alexandrite to Andalustite in depth, quick run down for the letter B and the use of crystals in relation to birth signs. Those who need curing go visit a doctor! Alexandrite: This comprises of berylium and aluminium and is known to change colour and appearance. It looks like an emerald by day and amethyst at night. It works on glands and nervous system. It works on the second and seventh Chakras. It is a special stone for second half Aries. Amazonite: A turquoise stone used for soothing and for use with the heart and throat chakras.It helps with self-confidence. It is a powerful stone, which helps the brain and nervous system. It comes from Brazil and is known as the Amazon stone. It is a major stone for emotional and mental problems. Amber: Although not a gemstone or crystal it has equally important uses. It is made of fossilised tree resin (25-125 million years ago) and is used to strengthen brain and nervous system and absorbs disease. Is a useful stone to use when manifesting. It needs to be cleansed often. It works on the second chakra. Amethyst: Helps those who like too much of the wine! It helps prevent drunkenness and stills the mind during meditation. A piece under your pillow will help give you sweet dreams. It helps uplift the spirit and helps cure stomach problems. It belongs to the quartz family and is purple due to the iron content. It gives protection to those who wear it and is used frequently for healing. It has also been used for love and more importantly divine love. It is especially powerful when used with rose quartz. Healers often use this mixture. It symbolises creativity. Andalusite: This can be green, grey, yellow, brown, red or pink. Each crystal changes it's colour depending on it's angle. It is a special stone for second half Taurus.
