Hi! I'm Apasi! I write this section along with Sarah.
How much do you know about semi precious gemstones? Can you tell the difference between Smokey quartz, rose quartz, clear quartz and frosted quartz? Can you describe Eilat stone? Do you know how to cleanse a crystal? No? Well then get ready for a magickal ride through the world of crystals.

Q & A
Q: How do you cleanse a Crystal?
A: There are several ways to cleanse a crystal.
- Earth: Try burying your crystal in earth for three days. If you have no garden or are worried about losing your crystal use salt instead. You should dispose of the salt after use as it contains the stones negative energy.
- Air: Try breathing on the stone. You must be extremely focused.
- Fire: Meditate with your crystal with a lit candle. Imagine the stone inside the candle's flame. When you finish quickly pass the stone through the flame.
Q: I suffer from migraines. Is there a natural cure using gemstones that would help?
A: Firstly as with all medical conditions try to sort it out in other ways e.g. changes in the diet and avoiding stressful situations. If you then decide to use a stone to aid the prevention of migraines try rose quartz or jet. Aventurine is also a useful stone. Try placing them on the brow chakra, rubbing on the forehead or making an elixir to rub on the temples.
Q: What is Turgite?
A: Turgite is a mineral used for dispelling anxieties. It also helps depressed people and brings happiness to those suffering from the death of a loved one. It is important to use it at home not in a business environment.
Birthstones: Gemini
Agate:
Strengthens body, mind and courage. Is able to help you to recognise truth and acceptance. Grounding but also a powerful healer.
Blue Lace is used on the third eye and used as a sedative for nerves, headaches, expression flow and expand consciousness. Good for the second half of Pisces and works on the fifth to sixth chakra.
Botswana helps with oxygen flow, a connection to wood and plants. It works on all chakras.
Dendritic is used for past lives.
Ellensburg Blue is used for brow and throat, headaches and hay fever. It is good when used with clear quartz and works on the fifth to sixth chakras.
Fire stimulates the entire system, tissue regeneration, balances, and grounds, protects, and works on the first and sixth chakra.
Iris regenerates the sense of touch and helps inner truths.
Moss improves circulation, digestion, a link to the
self-conscious; talisman for first half of Gemini was used for water diving. It works on the fourth chakra.
Plum works on regenerative and lower organs, expression and grounding. It works on the first and second chakra.
Picture improves visualization during meditation.
Snakeskin provides inner peace and joy.
Onyx:
Onyx is a coloured chalcedony associated with the
improvement of concentration and devotion. Many rosaries are made of this gemstone. It also helps with inner serenity, hearing and self-control.
Peridot:
A rich green mineral, which strengthens the physical body, balances the spirit body, brings energy to an aura and helps with internal organs especially the liver.
