© Matt Daughenbaugh Your ritual space is one that is important and takes a lot of care and preperation. Before you perform the spell, it is necessary you gather those ingrdiants ahead of time, it is best if you write down the supplies you need and check them off before you began a ritual of any kind. The purification of your tools are necessary, the easiest is to sprinkle them with blessed water or use a smudge wand, frankensense or burn juniper, sage or sandalwood on a charcoal burner and run the tools through the smoke. You could also pass them through the candle flame. For me, I hold my left hand over the tools, suck all negative energies out and shake them off my hand to discard those energies. You also need to be aware of the cleanliness of your space. Keep all dust, dirt etc swept up and everything nice and tidy. Dust and dirt all over everything holds in negative energies. Cleanliness keeps positive energies moving. Be sure to get rid of the clutter, do not clutter the area, this will stop all energies from moving at all. This should also be applied to your home, don't clutter stuff. Keep your room wide and open, the center of every room should be open with your furniture on the sides near the wall. Coffee tables in front of a couch usually are not good ideas. Matt Daughenbaugh Email Matt at: earthschild313@yahoo.com |
