By Annette (For use in purification baths before ritual) This is an easy way to have the full benifit of a purification bath, without clogging the plughole! What you need: Buy or make a small heshin bag - I make mine - that way they are more personal. Take a handfull of Rock Salt and place it in the bag. Add to this your chosen herbs - I use Lavender as a base, and then add different herbs, gums and oils depending on the type of ritual work I'm going to be doing. Next I add a cleansed/charged Clear Quartz tip to help soak up negative energies a bit more - of course, this can be omitted if you don't have one! Next I sometimes (but rarely) add chips of a natural or glycerine soap. Tie the top of the bag off, and run your bath! Use the bag to scrub your body ready for ritual. When you're done, the bag can be emptied and re-used. You could also use a pouch like this in a normal bath - I frequently have baths with fresh/dried rose petals and lavender, and I hate cleaning the plug-hole! By Annette What you'll need: Sew up three sides of the material, but leave the end open. Place the Lavender, Valerian and Crystals inside. Sew up the spare end and place under your pillow or inside your pillowcase. I've got one of these and it really helps me sleep! Mine's made from purple satin, and has fringing around the edges. Use your favourite colour and type of material, and add whatever decoration you want to it - this makes it more personal to you! You could also bless it in your own words.
