The Minor Arcana
Cups Ace - 5

This suit deals with many emotions, mainly that of love, happiness, friendship, etc., but that doesn’t mean that the not so nice ones aren’t included. Cups obviously deal with the emotional part of life, but also can mean coming into things of monetary or personal value.

The element that Cups is connected to is water, and the astrological signs that this suit is linked to are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pieces.

Ace of Cups

Ace of Cups
You will soon start a new relationship, or take a step further into one. The relationship could be of romantic value, or just friendship. This relationship might come with some spiritual influences. This card can also represent fertility, abundance, or even the birth of a child.

Reversed: You are facing rough waters in a relationship, or very possibly the end of it. Some one who you thought you could trust might have proved them selves unworthy of your confidence.

Two of Cups

Two of Cups
This is a good card to see if you have started a commitment of either the love or business persuasion. It foretells a long lasting relationship with slight compromises.

Reversed: Don’t jump straight into commitment for whatever reason. Try to avoid being in a yes or no situation, which involves the subject at hand, because you may not know enough facts to make the decision.

Three of Cups

Three of Cups
This card can represent two things:
(1) A well-sized celebration is on its way or
(2) The end of a problem.
If things haven’t been right lately, you will see a noticeable change in your luck.

Reversed: A celebration or exciting event you have been hoping to attend may not happen. Some one may also try to put you down or hurt you emotionally. This card also represents the awakening to the end or a relationship.

Four of Cups

Four of Cups
You feel trapped in routine and just plain bored. But an opportunity may show its self in an unexpected form, they you may pass over if you aren’t careful.

Reversed: Depression has been taking a hold of you as of late. You find your self-becoming more and more lethargic. It is becoming hard to take interest in and participate in the important things in your life, such as work, school, etc.

Five of Cups

Five of Cups
A loss or grief is indicated by this card. You are separated from some one you care about, or have just experienced the end to a relationship. But instead of focusing your energy on your losses, concentrate on what you can gain.

Reversed: The worst is over, but some pain and un wanted emotions still linger. Take heart that your situation is about to become better, and happiness will ensue.
