Things for the kids, note pads and t shirts.
For the family, shot glass, post cards, and key chains. I got 12 key chains.
I also got playing chips for myself, and two red dice to hang on the mirror of a car. I also got a glass pictures frame from the Excalibur Hotel.
I got a glass triangle shaped item, with water and little dice and cards and money in this triangle.
Well...bad news. I had a long blog written and sent it to my hotmail.com address to save and well I deleted all my emails and I never got the email at my hotmail.com address before I have the address blocked. I tried to get it back the email I lost but no luck.So here is kinda what I had wrote.
I will go back one week. I kinda had things written from 1 week and 3 days ago but it was not much. Pretty much on those 3 days I stayed home and watched t.v. and relaxed. I cleaned up and got ready to work the weekend.
Friday Nov 18th. Worked from 7pm to 7 am.
Saturday Nov 19th. Worked from 7pm to 7 am.
Sunday Nov 20th. Worked again from 7pm to 7 am. My sister had her baby tonight 1208 am. Little boys name is Kyle. I will be going to see him next Saturday. I watched a football game before I went to work and my team won and they are going to the final game next Sunday.
Monday Nov 21st. I was off today and slept till about 6 pm and watched t.v. I had watched Corner Gas, Degrassi, also Wrestling, Prison Break and CSI Miami. I watch alot of t.v. as you can tell. That night I just rested.
Tuesday Nov 22nd. I was off all day. But this time I was up at around 5 am which is normal but by 8 am I went back to bed, because if I didn't by 5 pm I am so tired. So I went to bed at 8 am and got up at 1 pm. Started my day shopping and getting groceries. Did some laundry and cleaned up of course.
Tonight I ordered in again club sandwich and fried and a nice dessert it was nice. Tonight I had watched The Amazing Race and also parts of the American Music Awards.....nice and hot Hilary Duff and Paris Hilton. I ended up watching the shows I taped from Monday like Prison Break and also CSI and some shows from the weekend. I think I had watched 6 hours of t.v. even shows from Friday that I taped and also Sunday.
Wednesday Nov 23rd. Today I slept all day till about 430 pm because I am working tonight. Started work at 7 pm and it was a nice fun night. Not to many calls after 12 am and also not alot of emails to respond to. It was a nice night and looking forward to one more night and then on vacation. I had taped a show this morning and will watch later this week. I had taped Seinfeld cast on Regis and Kelly. Tonight I also taped Invasion and also LOST and CSI NY.
Thursday Nov 24th. I got home around 735 am. I went to bed around 930 am and got up at 5 pm to get ready for work tonight. Well again tonight was nice. Not alot of calls and very little emails to do. I checked all my files and was set to go away and not come back until Dec 7th hehe. At like 655 am I got a call from a man to cancel a ticket. Oh man it was a big ticket and I finish at 7 am and my bus comes at 708 am. I checked the rules very fast and advised the most important things and he accepted everything. I sent a email to him and put my notes on file....and logged out and put all my things away and ran out to get the bus. I missed the 708 am bus but got the 715 am and that was okay. Got to the other stop and waited a bit and got the connection bus.
Friday Nov 25th. Today is my day off. I went to bed around 930 am again as I watched t.v. the Seinfeld cast on Regis and Kelly. I slept till about 650 pm. I got up and cleaned up and did dishes and also got my things ready for this weekend. I am going to see my sister tomorrow and her baby. So tonight I just watched t.v. 2 hours of it and got things in order. I ordered in again lol Swiss Chalet. By 10 pm I had cleaned up more and got things ready cause I didn't have to much time this weekend. Yah man the power just went off for 1 second. The lights flashed but my laptop is still on thank god lol. I saved the document every 2 minutes hehe. It is now 650 am and I went to bed Friday at 230 am. Before I went to bed I watched shows I taped from Wednesday and also Thursday. The shows I watched was Invasion and also LOST and CSI NY and CSI Las Vegas. So getting back to 230 am I went to bed and got up at 530 am. I wasn't able to sleep.
Saturday Nov 26th. So like I said a few minutes ago...it was 650 am. It is now 654 am hehe and just listening to a music station on the net. So later this morning I have planned getting the rental car and seeing my sister and also Kyle. I have a few things to do before I go but will be done in about 30 minutes. I need to get film today to take photos of Kyle and my trip on Tuesday to Vegas. I am getting the car at 12 pm and should be at Irene's around 3 pm I hope. It will take about 2-3 hours to get there. I can't drive to fast since we got a snow fall earlier this week about 10 cm's. Oh man LOL I just remembered I did save the last BLOG and I do have it lol oh man I am so happy hahahaha................I found it. Actually no I didn't save it. Well yes I did save it but it is this BLOG haha. I got it mixed up. I am just scanning my hard drive incase my computer can find it. Well you know what it was pretty much what I wrote above but I just removed some boring things that I said about work.
So it is 659 am now and well hope all goes well today. Sunday I plan on coming back to Ottawa and dropping the car off cause like I said earlier my team is in the final CFL Grey Cup this weekend. The game starts at 530 pm so I want to be here since Monday I have a few things to do before I go on my trip. I need to get my laundry done and also I need to exchange some Canadian money over to US money. I also need to pack and get things ready.
On Monday this is what I got planned. Watch Corner Gas and Degrassi and then tape Prison Break and CSI Miami and watch Wrestling. Wrestling is over by 11 pm and then watch what I taped (Prison Break and CSI Miami) and shower and get ready and go to the airport. I will leave here around 4 am since the flight is around 6 am. Well that's it for now. I will save this email and also send it to my hotmail account but this time I WILL MAKE SURE MY ADDRESS IS ACCEPTED BEFORE I DELETE THIS EMAIL.
Saturday Nov 26th. So I took a shower and went over to the store and got my film and also a few things on sale. I also got a package at the postal office. By 10 am I was home and on MSN. By 11 am I went outside got the bus and got the car at 1130 am. I left Ottawa at 1145 am and went to my mom's place. They were just at home resting and I visited for about 90 minutes. I went to St Louis, Quebec and visited my brother in law and his 3 kids. Jen and Matt and John. It was John's birthday and he turned 6 years old. I had some cake and juice and stayed for about 1 hour. By 4 pm I went to my sisters house and I visited her and Kyle and my brother. I held Kyle and gave him his bottle and got some photos taken. I was so tired by 7 pm. I took a nap and we watched TBS, The Mummy. By 1030 pm I left and got back to my parents place by 12am. I ended up watching some t.v. but 1230 am my parents got home from my mom's work (Christmas party) and by then 100 am I went to bed.
Sunday Nov 27th. This morning I got up and had some breakfast. I cleaned up and mom and I and dad just rested and burnt some photos from their computer to a CD. By 1145 am I left and drove back to Ottawa. I got some gas and dropped the car off and got home at 215 pm. It is now 403 pm and I was just unpacking and burning some photos to CD and also watching t.v. I have now the CFL pre game show on. I hope Montreal wins.
Well I watched the game. It started around 530 pm. By 7 pm Montreal was losing 10-1. I went to bed at 7 pm cause I was so tired. I got up at 850 pm and Montreal was winning 25-20. Edmonton ended up scoring and making it 28-25. The Montreal team went for a 3 point field goal and they got it. It was perfect. So now we are tired 28-28. They went into overtime and Montreal got a touch down and scored 35-28. And then Edmonton's turn. They scored and made it 35-35. Montreal had the ball and they tried so much but they missed all the plays and amazing things happened. Edmonton had the ball and then....they scored a field goal and won 38-35. It was a good game.
I taped Desperate Housewives and while that was taping I was watching the final part of the game and also the highlights and the trophy ceremony. It is now 1155 pm and watching Seinfeld. Since 10 pm I was just cleaning up AGAIN, going their my receipts and talking on MSN. Anyway will end here and talk tomorrow.
Monday Nov 28th 2005.
Well I got up at 945 am and took a shower and had breakfast. I watched Desperate Housewives. I cleaned up, like did dishes and put garbage out. I went across the street and got some U.S. money. I changed 259 Canadian and got 217 US so that is good. I went for lunch at Tim Horton's. I came back and started laundry. I did all my calls for the things I was suppose to do this week before I leave. I also paid my rent and got the final things together before this afternoon. It is now 218 pm and just put my clothes in the dryer. It should be done by 3 pm and then will put it all way and just rest. I am watching The Cosby Show now.
Well I finished my laundry and watch Seinfeld and had supper. I had a nice chicken sandwich. I packed my suite case and got all my things together. Example passport, money, e ticket and also some small things to bring with me. It is now 7 pm and watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Well I was so tired I feel asleep in my chair. I woke up at 812 pm and missed 12 minutes of Corner Gas. I stayed up till 824 pm and set my VCR and taped the last 6 minutes and then taped Degrassi and also Prison Break and CSI Miami.
I ended up going back to bed and I woke up around 958 pm. I also got a phone call. It was my mom saying have a good trip and we were talking about Prison Break but I taped it so we didn't talk to much about it. I watched CSI Miami and it was good. I knew the show was going into this direction. At 11 pm I had watched the last few minutes from Corner Gas and watched the full hour of Prison Break, it was good. It is now 125 am. I have been watching wrestling since 12 am, it's on for two hours. It will over at 2 am and then I am going to do some dishes and put garbage out and watch Degrassi cause I taped it. So by 2:30 am I will be caught up and then it is just waiting and getting dressed and calling a cab around 315 am. I hope it all works well......and the cab shows up around 330 am, it will take about 15-20 minutes to go to the airport so perfect time to check in and wait for a agent at the desk. Will arrive around 4 am and the flight is at 614 am. So far the flight is on time, and it isn't raining or snowing in Ottawa. This week in Vegas it will be about 12-20C.

Tuesday Nov 29th.
Well I got the cab and got to the airport and everything went well. The flight was on time from Ottawa and also from Chicago. The below information is what I did on my trip.
11 am arrival at Las Vegas airport. Got a shuttle bus from the airport of the Luxor hotel. I checked in and unpacked. The room was really nice. Large room with a great view of the Excalibur Hotel and also part of the Eiffel Tower and also NYNY Hotel. I had 2 queen beds, large area and also walk in shower, really nice. Today I walked down the strip and stopped at the MGM Hotel to get my tickets for the show La Femme. Also I called my mom today to let her know I got in okay. I also visited the Lion Habitat at the MGM Hotel. "A multi-level habitat adorned with stone, indigenous trees & foliage in a magnificent showcase that houses five adult lions". I had also walked around the Rain Forest Cafe "offers tempting fare including pastas & salads in a rainforest setting". I didn't eat there but just walked around and visited the Rain Forest Cafe store.
Today I had lunch at Subway further down on the strip. At the same place I was shopping around for souvenirs. I visited many hotels on the strip, checked out Bellagio Hotel and also Caesars Palace I also visited the new Wynn hotel. I think they said it cost 2.5 billion to build. Later that afternoon I took the Deuce back to the Luxor hotel. The deuce is a new double decker bus that runs along the strip. 2$ one way or 5$ 24 hour pass. I took advantage of the 5$ pass and bought a pass at least every day. When I got back to the Luxor Hotel I checked out what they offered. The Imax theatre, also the buffet area.
Later this evening I had a Singapore Sling at the Nile Bar. Gambled a bit, about 15$ and lost it all haha. Oh yah just to let you know the Luxor Hotel is based on the country Egypt with the pyramids and also the Sphinx www.luxor.com I went back to the room watched some t.v. went to bed at 630 pm got up around 830 pm but went back to bed now it was 1230 am and woke up at 430 am. I wrote some things and checked the guide to do things in town. I went back to bed at 5 am and got up around 8am.
Wednesday Nov 30th.
Well this morning I got up at 8 am and took a shower and took the free tram to the Excalibur hotel to have breakfast at The Round Table Buffet next to the Luxor Hotel. Excalibur hotel is a castle like hotel, theme for Medieval Times. Then breakfast was really good and I got to have alot of chocolate milk, or would Nathan love it lol. Today I walked by the NYNY Hotel and they had t-shirts folded up in glass cases from fire departments around United States to honour September 11th, 2001. I went to the M & M shop store today and got the kids souvenirs. I took the Deuce today down to Freemont St and looked around at the older hotels and did some more souvenir shopping. Great value, like 97 cents for 1 shot glass, and also 12 key chains for 10$ that is a great price. I spent 16$ in souvenirs at the Freemont St experience. I took the Deuce back on the strip to the Stardust hotel and there was no show today for Rick Thomas, magic show. I ended up having a nice double scoop ice cream to pass away the time. I took the Deuce back to my hotel The Luxor, gambled a bit about 28$ till about 245 pm. At 4 pm I called my family and spoke with them. I took the tram to the Excalibur and I went on the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster. With heights of 203 feet, drops of 144 feet and speeds up to 67 MPH, this attraction adds new meaning to the phrase "let it ride!" It features the world's first "heartline" twist and dive maneuver, allowing riders to experience the thrilling force of negative g's! The ride was amazing and it lasted about 3 minutes. It went so fast and I loved it. This ride beats the one at the West Edmonton Mall for speed and also for turns and almost throwing up lol.
After the ride I took the Deuce to Treasure Island Hotel. I cashed my voucher and got my ticket for the Cirque du Soleil show ZUMANITY. That night I had another Singapore Sling drink and played some Keno while I waited to see the show Zumanity. I loved the show alot and sat 3 rows from the stage, it was alot of fun and I had a great time. The show was over by 905 pm. I watched the Fire eruption at the Mirage Hotel. "Every thirty minutes from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, the earth shakes and flames shoot into the night sky spewing smoke and fire 100 feet above the waters below, transforming a tranquil waterfall into spectacular streams of molten lava.

I took the Deuce back to the Luxor Hotel and got back around 1030 pm and ordered some food. I had watched Roseanne and Everybody Loves Raymond. I had a good dinner, club sandwich and also more chocolate milk. By 1120 pm I went to bed I had a long day.
Thursday Dec 1st.
I got up at 930 am took a shower and had breakfast at the Luxor Hotel, where I am staying. Again more chocolate milk and yes 2 large glass full's lol.
10 am I had breakfast and 11 am I walked to the Tropicana Hotel to get a ticket for the Magic Show starring Dirk Arthur. 1115 am I went shopping again for souvenirs also took some photos.
115 pm I got to the Tropicana Hotel and got to my seat. The show was great. I have no idea how this guy did this stuff. I sat 4 seats from the stage and man I am still wondering how he made himself disappear and then he is standing in the audience 10 seconds later. Or how he blows up a tiger in mid air. By 3 om I went back to the Luxor Hotel and rested. 330 pm I took the Deuce to the Stratosphere Hotel to ride the new one called Insanity. At 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. At 866 feet, X Scream is the world's third highest thrill ride. Shaped like a giant teeter-totter, X Scream is an open vehicle that propels riders head-first, 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower and dangles them weightlessly above the Strip before pulling it's riders back and over again for more!
The ride was great. I could not believe I was just hanging there haha it was so scary man like over 900 feet in the air.
6 PM arrive back at the Luxor Hotel and watched Seinfeld and just rested.
630 pm left to go to the MGM Grand Hotel I watched some people gamble until the doors opened for the La Femme show. The show is pronounced: "La Fahm" (Fahm is pronounced like aah!) "La Femme" is a first for America and Las Vegas, a show direct from one of the hottest nightspots in the world, the original Crazy Horse in Paris, famous for its productions celebrating beautiful woman and the art of the nude since 1951. The show was good and had a nice Bacardi 8 rum drink but man it was strong lol. I also had a kronenbourg 1664 kinda like a heineken. These drinks got me seeing double lol. The drinks were strong but I liked the show lol. As you can tell above of the show info and being drunk it was worth it lol. The show was on at 8 pm and by 845 pm I was drunk.
The show ended by 915 pm walked back to The Luxor Hotel. Went to bed right away and took a Tylenol and that helped alot hehe.
Friday Dec 2nd.
Today I got up 930 am had a shower and had breakfast at 10 am at The Luxor Hotel. By 11 am I was done breakfast and 1130 am 12 pm I took the Deuce to the Eiffel Tower Paris Hotel. The tower was closed today cause of high winds. So I sat outside at the La Tour Eiffel Bar Paris and had a Pepsi. lol I wasn't going to drink a beer cause the night before the rum was a killer lol.
I went to the Wynn Hotel and walked around. I walked around Treasure Island, Caesars Palace and also went souvenir shopping. I took the Deuce back to the Luxor Hotel by 3 pm just watched t.v. and relaxed. I watched Home Improvement and also Yes, Dear. I tried to nap but left to go on the Deuce, took at least 45 minutes cause it was Friday and traffic was bad and also the Rodeo was in town. I went to the Rivera Hotel to get my ticket to see the show Splash. I went to Penny Town and had pizza and a pop pretty cool everything is 0.99$ really cool. I went back to the Splash Theatre waited for about 20 minutes. The show started at 8 pm and ended around 930 pm. Great music, acts and many cute girls. An entertainment extravaganza, the stage spectacular Splash explodes with high-energy dancing and state-of-the-art special effects. By 950 pm took the Deuce back to the Luxor Hotel. Arrived back at the hotel and got a Sundae and went to my room. I knew Carrot Top was going to be at the hotel long ago but I didn't know I was going to see him.
I probably left some things out, but this happened Friday night, so I kinda forget it all lol.
I was walking to the elevator and waiting and a guy got off and he was talking to some other guy (while this was happening I got on the elevator and I heard them talking about like nice to see you, your cool and things like that, I held the door for this person and when I saw it was Carrot Top I was amazed. He asked me what floor and I said 26 and I think he or I pressed it. Then I just said so how's it going? he said things going good. He said that looks good. ( I had a sundae) and I said yah I am surprised I can eat this since I had a drink last night and it was a hard one and I felt really bad, like really drunk. he said some people get their drink spiked, well I said well it was a girl that was serving me, I had a tab going and well this drink was strong. hehe.
I told him I wanted to see him but I had other things to do, I had other tickets. I told him I would love to see his show. I think he asked when I come back next time to see him. He asked where I was from and what I am doing, just a trip (vacation) and I am from Ottawa, Canada. He said go Canada go Canada hehe.
And that was it. It was really fast. We were in the elevator for about 2 minutes. 26 floor my room is, and he was going to 30 I think where the big rooms are and big stars go.
So he is at the Luxor Hotel for 3 years. He signed a contract so that is good for him.
He is really funny and I love it when he has his little acts and his little stunts he had made and make fun of the stars.
I had watched some t.v. and went to bed at 12 am.
Saturday Dec 3rd.
Well today is my last day here in Vegas. My flight is at 1140 pm Pacific time. I took the tram to the Excalibur hotel and had breakfast. I went back to the Luxor Hotel and checked out and got my bags stored away. I took the Deuce to the Paris Hotel again and this time it was open. I went up the tower and it had great views and got some nice photos. I spent about 30 minutes up the tower and it was really windy. I walked around the other hotels and went back to Penny Town at the Rivera Hotel and had lunch and played some slot machines. I walked around the outside of the hotel. I walked by Caesars Palace and also Bellagio Hotel. I walked around more and took the Deuce back to The Luxor Hotel. I took the tram to Mandalay Bay. I walked around and went to the Shark Reef but turned around and just came back to the Luxor Hotel by tram and had supper at the Pyramid Cafe. http://www.luxor.com/dining/pyramid_cafe.aspx
I had a small accident at this place. All of a sudden my nose was bleeding so much. I ran to the bathroom and was there for 15 minutes. It felt forever. I went back to my table and I am glad my jacket and camera was still there. I ended up paying the bill and went to the bell desk and get my bags and went to the north entrance to get the shuttle bus.
650 pm the shuttle bus came and went to the airport. I checked in around 715 pm and my flight is at 1140 pm. I ended taking a nap and having a drink, Pepsi and had some snacks. I bordered the flight and arrived Chicago around 445 am Sunday December 4th. I had to wait for my flight but it was delayed and we finally left at 955 am. I got back in Ottawa around 123 pm and got home around 130 pm.
Today Sunday December 4th I unpacked my suitcase and all my souvenirs. I also checked my email, got my mail, also I got some thing to eat around 6 pm.
At 8 pm I watched The Amazing Race and then at 9 pm I watched Desperate Housewives.
I went to bed around 12 am. I was so tried and it was a long day.
Monday December 5th.
Well today I got up around 10 am. I had a shower and checked my email. I also had breakfast and cleaned up a little bit. I went to drop my film off, get some groceries and also get my Seinfeld package DVD's. I posted some Christmas cards and got some more groceries at another store.
By 2 pm I was just on the internet and just playing around in my house, going through my receipts and also cleaning up.
I watched some of my shows that I taped from the week I was away. I had watched OTR with Bret Hart and also I watched According to Jim. I also watched Invasion and also Lost.
At 8 pm I watched Corner Gas and also Degrassi and watched Las Vegas. 9 30 pm I taped the last half hour of Las Vegas as I watched wrestling. Wrestling was done at 1130 pm and I watched Jay Leno and while I watched Jay Leno I wrote all this stuff. I also watched Conan O'Brien and watched Yes, Dear. It is now 139 am and I am watching Roseanne now.
Tuesday December 6th.
Today I am just going to rest and may do some laundry. There is a person coming here around 4 pm to meet me for my insurance. I plan to watch the other shows I taped. Like CSI NY, OC, CSI Las Vegas, and also Ghost Whisperer and Hope and Faith and Hot Properties. I taped a total of 8 hours. I have 5 more hours to watch hehe. Tonight I will watch The Amazing Race and during the day will finish my tape. I work Wednesday night at 7pm and also Thursday.
Friday I am off and Saturday is my Christmas Party. Cocktails are around 630 pm and I booked a room because I don't want to leave at 12 am and be in the cold. I am off Sunday and I work Monday night at 7pm and also Tuesday.
Well the tape I used was only a 6 hour tape. I forgot to use the 8 hour tape. I watched CSI NY and also OC and well CSI Las Vegas was a repeat. I didn't get to see Ghost Whisperer, Hope and Faith nor Hot Properties. But that is okay.
Today I slept till 9 am and just cleaned up, watched t.v. and played on the internet.
Well Tuesday I just stayed home and watched t.v. I watched the Bill Board Music Awards live from Las Vegas for the first hour. I watched The Amazing Race and then at 10 pm I watched the last hour of the Music Awards. Tuesday night was fun hehe.
Today is Wednesday and right now it is 143 pm. I am watching The Cosby Show, I love shows on t.v. that replay, re runs.
Well I worked tonight and also Thursday.
It is Friday now and got my photos from my trip from Las Vegas. I have uploaded them to my webpage and have brought them to work. Really nice photos. Kinda the same photos I took in November 2003.
Well Saturday Dec 10th I went to the BTI Christmas Party. I had a good time with Sam and danced alot and ate alot. Had a few beers and it was nice to see many people from Expedia.ca at the party. I won a 25$ voucher for Swiss Chalet which I already used and I won a 2 night stay in Paris, France. I am not sure if I will use it.
The party was suppose to end at 1 am but we danced till 145 am. Finally we went to Pedro's room the bunch of us and we got pizze and chatted till 5 am.
I went to bed around 515 am and got up at 1030 am and checked out and got home by 11 am and slept till 330 pm. Sunday December 11th I just hanged out and chilled. Watched t.v. and cleaned up.
Monday Dec 12th I worked at 7pm to 7 am.
Tuesday Dec 13th I worked at 7pm to 7 am.
Wednesday Dec 14th I was off and slept till like 5 pm and had supper and just watched my t.v. shows, like George Lopez, Freddie and CSI and other shows I taped from Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday Dec 15th I had a late start at 2 pm. I went to the Motor Vechile Place and got my new license and I also went downtown to get my new health card. By 430 pm I went to ZELLERS and did my Christmas shopping. By 530 pm I was done, just in time for the store to close. Got home around 600 pm and ordered some food from Gabriels Pizza House. That night I watched t.v. shows that I taped from earlier in the week and also watched other shows on t.v. I went to bed like around 5 am couldn't sleep.
Friday Dec 16th I slept till 5 pm and went to work that night 7pm to 7am.
Saturday Dec 17th worked 7pm to 7 am.
Sunday Dec 18th worked 7pm to 7 am.
Monday Dec 19th I went to bed at 9 00 am and slept till around 545 pm. I am planning a trip to Quebec City. I got the Delta Hotel booked for 3 nights, Jan 7th to 10th, Jan 8th is my birthday so I am planning on going dogsledding and snow shoeing for 4 hours that day. I also got a free train ticket using my preference points which is nice, and got the hotel for 39$ a night awesome.....until next time.
