PART 3
ATTACHING THE TASSEL TO THE ORNAMENT
_________________________________________________________________________

38. Bring up the Victorian Ornament that you made earlier, in PSP.
Open a new canvas, the background color and size is your choice, But make sure to give yourself
enough workspace to add tubes, perspective shadows etc. You can always resize and crop it later.

39. Copy and PASTE AS A NEW LAYER, your ornament, onto your blank canvas.
Using your moving tool, position your ornmanet where you want it.

40. Now, open the tassel tube you just made.
Copy and PASTE AS A NEW LAYER

41. Again, using your moving tool, position your tassel where you want it.
Resize or use your deformation tool if necessary.

42. Once you have it where you want it, Go to the LAYER PALETTE, and drag your TASSEL LAYER, BELOW your ORNAMENT LAYER.
Here is what my ornament looks like now.

You can stop at any time now, and decorate to your hearts content.
I am going to continue on, because the Victorian era is known for it's floral designs, heavy
brocades, lacy frills, and decorative embellishments, so I am going to decorate my ornament just a
little bit using pastel pearls. I have included them in the supplies to download at the beginning
of this tut, if you need them.

43. Once you are done, resize, crop, if needed, delete your background layer and then merge visible.

44. Save in either psp or tub format. This way you can change your backgrounds at will when you
go to use your ornament again.

Here is my finished ornament. I've decided to keep it simple and elegant, FOR NOW. :o)
