BITCHES SIN "The First Temptation" CD Majestic Rock
Here is a very interesting cd of BITCHES SIN early material. The first part contains the seven tracks of the "Twelve Pounds And No Kinks" 1980 demo, with line-up Toomey brothers / Cockburn / Knowles / Hodder. You can hear fthe first versions for "Bitches Sin", "Heavy Life" and "Ice Angels", which later will be officially recorded for BITCHES SIN second album. Other highlights are "Down The Road" and "White Lady". That demo showed at this time that BITCHES SIN had a big potential. But the more remarkable material is the second part of this cd, the four tracks of the 1981 BBC Session. "Down The Road" became a raging and fast song, "Fallen Star" is really heavy, "Hold On To Love" is fast and crazy, and "Strangers On The Shore" is a fantastic gem and a mindblowing hammer ! "The First Temptation" is a great cd with brilliant material !

BITCHES SIN "Invaders" CD self-financed
Here is the re-release of the 1986 BITCHES SIN second album (which is remastered too). Before going to the music, there are two negative points. First, it would have been a very good idea to put as bonustracks the three alternate songs from the 1988 british pressing. Second, the poor packaging, because we can't speak of a booklet, as it's a paper sheet with on one side the cover (which was and still is really horrible and childish) and on the other side the band logo and band website address. But for the disc, I have only good words ! This is a nwobhm classic, even if it was put out only in '86, but the band struggled to find a suitable label. I must also mention that this line-up (Toomey brothers / Quegan / Knowles / Frazier) was the best one for BITCHES SIN. "Invaders" is an awesome album with a storm of superb guitarwork, killer solos, excellent vocals of the talented Quegan. You will find only first class material here : mindblowing hammers ("Ain't Life a Bitch" which is ulimate, "Heavy Life"), energic heavy rockers ("Invader", "Bitches Sin"), catchy but effective tunes ("No More Chances", "Out Of My Mind"), great pieces with an epic touch ("Dawn Of Destruction", "Ice Angels"), even the accessible songs are well done ("Day In Day Out", "Round-a-Bout"). "Invaders" is a fantastic classic which needs to be in every records collection of metal maniacs ! Get the cd and listen to the magic !
