CLOVEN HOOF "Eye Of The Sun" CD Escape Music
Although there is only one former member (bassist Lee Payne), CLOVEN HOOF
has made a good comeback. Even if there is a modern evolution, they don't
betray their roots. This album offers powerful ravagers ("Eye Of The Sun",
"Angels In Hell", "Absolute Power"), tracks that really rock ("Cyberworld",
"Eye Of The Zombie"), great dark mid-tempo songs that are catchy ("Kiss Of
Evil", "Whore Of Babylon"). My only complaint is that in some songs, we can
find a short break with pseudo agressive vocals, and CLOVEN HOOF doesn't
need this at all. This cd being quite killer, I don't have other complaints.
