DISMEMBER "Complete Demos" CD Regain
Time for a little travel in the early years of DISMEMBER with this cd including
their three demos. First demos features "Deathevokation", "Subtantally Dead"
and "Defective Decay". Musicalwise, it showed a naive but enjoyable potential.
Vocalwise, the quite irritable screams of Robban fits better with an average
black metal band than a death metal one. Second demo offers "Deranged From
Blood", "Blasphemies Of The Flesh" and "Selfdissection". The band already
progressed and started to be more effective in their raw death metal. Vocals
by Robert Senneback fits well with the brutality of the music. Third demo
unleashes "Dismembered", "Sickening Art" and a reworked "Defective Decay".
On this last tape, they totally found themselves. The tracks are ripping
in a morbid mood. They also found their perfect vocalist (the amazing Matti)
and their sound (first collaboration with Tomas Skogsberg). You know the
continuation with the cult "Like An Ever Flowing Stream" album...
