HALLOWEEN "Horror Fire" CD MCM
Finally a new album ! Is HALLOWEEN still at the top of its art ? Yeah ! There
are obvious proofs with the new anthem for nightmares that is "Halloween
Night", "Candles" which is a heavy rocker from darkness, the threatening
atmosphere of "Nobody's Home", or the ironic vision of mankind pictured by
"Ways Of Man". The band has also become heavier and offers powerful tunes
with the galloping terror of "Wake Up Screaming", the crawling fear of "The
Crush", the thrills at the edge of the knife given by "The Seer", the bleeding
"Head Against a Wall", or the raging desire of the warlike "Coming To Life".
They made a good job for the cover of Alice Cooper's "Go To Hell", which
is at the same time respectful and personal. HALLOWEEN is back with a killer
album ! The horror heavy metal is alive again. Are you afraid to go in horror
fire ? You won't resist, because no one gets out and we are victims of the
night. Just remember : don't metal with evil !

HALLOWEEN "E.vil P.ieces" MCD MCM
More horror fire coming with the new album. Out of the six tracks, there
is only the cover of Alice Cooper taken from the cd. They offer two unreleased
songs with the dark melodic "Angel Of Evil" and the hellish monster that
is "Hell". The remaining three tracks are 2006 versions of "Don't Metal With
Evil", "To Fight The Beast" (both originally on the "Don't Metal With Evil"
'85 album), and "Evil Nation" (originally on the Vicious Demos). Usually
I am not for bands re-recording their old material, but I must admit the
band did a very good work here. So don't hesitate to purchase both cd and
mcd, because you will have first class horror heavy metal, and in addition
value for your money. Are you afraid ?
