LONEWOLF "Hellenic Warriors" 7'' Eat Metal
Two new songs from LONEWOLF and it seems they will stay only on this single
vinyl. A-side is "Hellenic Warriors",which unleashes the thunder ! This is
an anthem for the warriors of Hellas who came to the LONEWOLF concert in
Athens in January 2003, but it's also brilliant speed metal. B-side is "Child
Of Oblivion", a monster of heaviness, which is good but not outstanding.
Anyway, just for the speed madness of the A-side, get it !

LONEWOLF "Unholy Paradise" CD Goimusic
With their second album, LONEWOLF still are loyal to their heavy/speed metal
but they also evolve more in the epic territory. And the highlights of this
album are the epic songs : the fantastic and wonderful "Erik The Red", the
anthemic and well-composed "S.P.Q.R.", the RUNNING WILD-ish "1789", the dark
and a little doom "Unholy Paradise", the great and speed "Medieval Witchcraft".
The other songs are good traditional eighties metal : opener "Stronger Than
Evil" with fast verses and heavy chorus, "Wild And Free" sounding like a
cross between GRAVE DIGGER and IRON MAIDEN, "Snake In Eden" is effective,
"Behind The Cross" with its IRON MAIDEN influenced guitarworks is a powerful
storm, and the speed metal devastation that is "Phantomride". This second
album is stronger than "March Into The Arena" and really gives confidence
in the future of the band (and I hope they will continue to explore the epic
territory). A good album which deserves to be supported.

LONEWOLF "March Into The Arena" self-financed CD
The kick ass french metal album which took me by storm! Of course, there's
a strong Running Wild touch, but... hey, it's first class metal! Eight tracks
with a constant high quality you will find. "Morbid Beauty" and "Curse Of
The Seas" are heavy /speed storms. "March Into the Arena" and "Towards The
Light" are epic power/speed anthems. There are also fantastic tunes as "Pagan
Glory" and "Forgotten Shadows", the captivating heaviness of "Buried Alive"
before it goes fast and it blows up your head. The cd ends with the LONEWOLF
classic, the devastating "Holy Evil". "March Into The Arena" is an absolute
masterpiece! Essential! Get this album which will make you headbang till
death! Welcome back LONEWOLF!
