MAMA'S BOYS "Power And Passion" CD Gott Discs
I never thought this album would be re-released and remastered one day. But
it happened. And after all, it's only justice as "Power And Passion" is the
classic MAMA'S BOYS album. It is a nice mix of pounding heavy rock ("Lettin'
Go", "Power And Passion", "Run"), songs that really rock hard ("Straight
Forward, No Looking Back", "Hard 'n' Loud", "Let's Get High"), tunes where
you can feel the THIN LIZZY influence ("Needle In The Groove", "Don't Tell
Mama", instrumental "The Professor II"). By listening to this cd, I realized
that my favourite MAMA'S BOYS album has stood the test of time. The only
disappointing thing here is that the lyrics are not printed in the booklet
(but at least you will find four pages of notes about their history). If
you have a taste for solid hard rock, try this brillant album originally
recorded in '85. For the connoisseurs, your used vinyl can take holidays...
