MINOTAURI “Doom Metal Invasion” 10’’ Iron Bonehead
If doom metal invasion means a great four track ep like this one, so bring
me more doom metal invasion for the future ! Opener “Cemetary Shadows” sounds
like a cross between PENTAGRAM and WITCHFINDER GENERAL, and is the highlight
of this vinyl. But the other three songs are excellent tunes too. Musically,
“Frustrated” is in the line of the material by DAWN OF WINTER. “Paid Love”
has a touch of PAGAN ALTAR, and “You Will Learn...” brings THE OBSESSED to
my mind. Several influences and a band which is not a copycat. This ep shows
the big potential these finnish doomsters have. If in the future MINOTAURI
releases a full lp with the same quality as on this 10’’, sure I will praise
them !
