OVERDRIVE “Live - Mission Of Destruction” CD Crook’d
Yes, it’s a surprise to hear live recordings by swedish legend OVERDRIVE,
but this cd is essential. Eight tracks from ‘82, one from ‘85 and five from
the re-union ‘97 plus two studio bonustracks taken from the “Rockslaget”
compilation lp ‘82. OVERDRIVE were delivering kick ass songs as “Out Of The
Mist”, “Confused” or “Doomwatch”, memorable anthems as “Burn In Hell” (this
one is as heavy as an armageddon !), “Breaking Point” or “Tonight”, and absolute
killers as “Mission Of Destruction”, “Midnight Cruiser” or instrumental “Swords
And Axes”. They were only delivering the goods ! The legend lives on…
