PENTAGRAM "First Daze Here Too" DoCD Relapse
All those of you who are into real doom will remember that in 2002 was released
a cd titled "First Daze Here" showing the doom metal side of PENTAGRAM's
seventies era. This double cd was before. They had already a doomy side as
you can heard with some alternate versions ("When The Screams Come", "Show
'Em How", "Be Forewarned"...). But they are also a dark heavy rock side (in
examples : "Much Too Young To Know", "Teaser", "Target", "Frustration"...).
Well, doom or dark heavy rock, it remains the same : PENTAGRAM rules ! The
sound varies from very good to rough mix, however the first thing you hear
is their talent. It can be shaking, thrilling, expressive, unreal or simply
straight... And it's always top notch material with a great musicianship.
It also makes realize that if PENTAGRAM hadn't a career under bad luck, they
could have been as influential as Black Sabbath were. The wheel of fortune
was not with them, but is currently with you if you get this double cd for
enjoying mindblowing recordings by underground doom fathers !
