ROTTWEILLER “Screams Of The Innocent” CD Hellion
I never heard about this american band in the eighties. What a pity, because
this cd re-release took me by storm ! First class powerful heavy metal with
a mindblowing guitarist and an excellent musicianship. “Exterminator” and
“Set The World On Fire” (with hallucinating high-pitched vocals) are two
crazy metal thunders. “Bach - Prelude No. 2” shows the talent of guitarist
Rick Van Zandt. “No Escape” and “Seductress From Hell” are powerful with
an evil feeling. “Rock’n’Roll You Bring Me Pain” is a fast and devastating
heavy rock tune. Mid-tempo “Tough To Take” is surrealist and incredible.
“Where I Am” is speed metal with a rock’n’roll touch and it sounds good.
“She” is a quite dull ballad and my only complaint about this cd. “Intense
As Hell” is an anthem bringing the glory of steel. There are three live bonustracks
too. “The Quest” is a great riding heavy rock tune, so why not to have recorded
this song on the lp instead of “She” ? The two other tracks are “No Escape”
plus a guitar solo and “Tough To Take” plus a drums solo. The three live
tracks prove it was worth the asked money of the ticket for a ROTTWEILLER
concert. Buy or die, this cd is a ripper !
