SATAN "Blitzkrieg In Holland - Live At Elekerlyk 11/11/83" DoLP Assurancetourix
This concert recorded in Holland is a columbian double lp bootleg. The sound
is not high quality, but the vinyls are listenable. After the "Into The Fire"
tape intro, the show begins with two fast thunders : the raging "Trial By
Fire" and the anthemic "No Turning Back". Then SATAN touch the magic with
the awesome "Oppression" and a jewel called "Heads Will Roll". A plague named
" Hunt You Down" ends Side A. Side B starts with the classic and memorable
hymn "Pull The Trigger" (played by SATAN or BLITZKRIEG, it is always memorable).
After this unforgettable song, you have the straight-in-the face "Break Free"
and a pounding metal tune with "Blades Of Steel". Now it's Side C, where
we find the threatening "The Ritual", the haunting "Kiss Of Death", the epic
and stormy "Alone In The Dock" (including a drums solo). Side D is the encore.
The band plays a good cover of "Paranoid". Then it's time to remember Brian
Ross is also the vocalist of BLITZKRIEG, so SATAN plays "Blitzkrieg" (another
classic and memorable hymn of the nwobhm) and goes again for "Pull The Trigger"
(but that song is so great !).
