WAYNE "Metal Church" CD Nuclear Blast
Unbelievable! Wayne did it! His album is closer to the first METAL CHURCH
album than "Masterpeace". I would even dare to say that WAYNE's "Metal Church"
is the right follower to METAL CHURCH's classic first album (even if "The
Dark" is an excellent album). You get real heavy tune with "The Choice" and
"D.S.D.", but the best comes with the powerful anthem "The Hammer Will Fall"
which will break you into pieces, the crazy fast "Burning At The Stake" and
"Nightmare part 2" (first part is of course on the classic METAL CHURCH album),
the captivating "Vlad", the dark and disturbing "Hannibal", the road roller
"Soos Creek Cemetary". The last two songs are a desperate ballad ("Ballad
For Marianne") and a cover ("Mississipi Queen"), they are good but I think
in the end they decrease the intensity and the impact of this monster album.
Anyway, no fillers and "Metal Church" is a fantastic masterpiece! If you
don't buy it, the hammer will fall on you!
