Mr. C

What's capital or labor? I haven't a clue;

But to Mr. C, these terms stick like glue.

Knowledge is key for a teacher, you see;

Though I just don't know where that leaves Mr. C.

Panicking women, dumb jokes, Shoeless Joe;

Is this a real class? You may want to know.

"Now we're rollin' ," he likes to say,

As we finish two pages of work just that day.

This class, a vacation you think? Au contraire,

Talk while he's talking ... he can be such a bear!

 

To be serious, though, we learn quite a bit,

About banks and money and all of that s-smack.

And though his stale humor isn't always a hit,

Burn the receipt, we won't take him back!!!
