THE ARRAIGNMENT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TODAY! Granted, it wasn't much (Moloi acknowledged the charges against him, plead "not guilty" - no surprise there, and the whole thing was over in about a minute), but at least it is progress. The next hearing is scheduled on March 6, 2003, for pre-trial motions. According to Mr. Gundy, this case is actually progressing at a pretty good pace for a homicide. Also, it will probably be about another six-months before the DA's Office decides if they are going to seek the death penalty or not (the decision is made via an internal committee).
