The hearing for the discovery motion was held as scheduled, and it was open to the public. I must say, the whole thing seemed kind of pointless. The defense was asking the court to order the state to turn over evidence, but the District Attorney had either already turned over those items that had been requested or did not have those things themselves. The prosecutor said this was standard, par-for-the-coarse, butt-covering by the defense team. Eh, hu. Anyway, the preliminary hearing should still take place Tuesday, June 10th.
