My day at the CPA went so well that I am still soaring. Something happened there. I am not sure of exactly what it was, nor do I understand it. I guess enlightenment comes at any moment, even when discussing financial matters. I don’t mean to be vague, but all I can say is that “IT” is just a feeling, a very good feeling, like something has shifted in my brain, I mean in a good way.
We finished at 7 and I was starving. The CPA was doing food stories at the end, he is bad.
Actually there is a bit of a backstory here. I had a CPA for 3 years. He was very good, but it seems that he feel into a hole of depression and can't get out, so I now have his partner. This man grew up on the Colorado/Nebraska border and he was telling me food stories. He said that peeps there cook everything up in lard and then dip bread in the lard and eat it ( along with the meat or whatever it was that they were cooking) Maybe he is making this up. I really couldn't tell. He had other weird food tales too! He made me laugh so much.
Anyway I decided to treat myself to a Portobello (SANS LARD!) at Café Salsa. I love Caribbean food! YES!YES!YES!
So there I was sitting at the bar drinking my Stoli and waiting for my app when guess who walks in? Sam! Haha! I love love love coincidences. He had business in Buffalo Grove and was on his way back to Bull Valley. He was feeling Caribbean too!
We ended up having dinner together.
I think I was unfair to him the first time.
He is teaching me Greek. gala=milk, vooterrow=butter, elathough=come here. And he is going to make domathes for me! It's lamb and rice or rosa marina wrapped in grape leaves. I have had it. Delicious!!! but I haven't had his, yet.
His Hellenic lips still drive me crazee!!!!!!!!!!! So much so that I did a painting of them this morning. Only one prob, they kinda look like girl parts.
I hope you are having an amazing coincidence or two, too.

P.S. Do you know how those high-plains peeps butter their corn? They butter a piece of bread, then use it to butter the corn. I never even thought of that, did you?
