My Dad's out of the hospital and things are looking good. It'll be a few weeks before things are normal again. As bad as it was to have this happen over the Christmas break, at least we were all here together.
Spent the evening doing our usual present exchange with the girls. It's awesome..we've been out of school for almost 2 years and we're still super close. We went through some of Shan's wedding photos..there's a really really embarassing picture of me and Ford (haha)..at least we look like we're having fun :P Speaking of weddings..I went to Gurinder's wedding last night. Crazy. There were 500+ people there..almost all of them out on the dance floor. I had a blast..we danced until 1am and my feet are super sore today.
5 more days till i'm back in Seattle..16 more days until San Fran..18 more days until Brian joins me in San Fran...eeek!! No, I'm not counting :P

Merry Christmas!
Life has a funny way of balancing itself out. Just when everything is going perfectly and you feel like nothing in the world can hurt you, you suddenly come crashing down and are faced with reality. I guess the only comforting thing is knowing that I can be there for a loved one who is currently in the hospital and I'm not stuck out in Seattle feeling helpless. This is the first time that only 3 of us will be celebrating xmas together.

Heading to Vancouver this weekend..it's been soooo long since i've been there. Problem is, I've had sushi like 4 times this week already and i think I might be sick of it :( Anyhow, the good news is that I finally get to hang out with Dave :) :) :) I also have to pick up a few things from Mec: new sleeping bag, gaitors, overmitts, etc.. speaking of rainier..haven't started any training yet.. figured I'd take the week off. Anyhow, can't wait to get out of Seattle for a bit.
