I went shopping at the Eaton center last night. I got a little hungry so I headed to the food court...and since I didn't have any money on me, I thought I'd just take some cash out from a bank machine. Having cash on you is really handy. Most small food places here don't accept interac and cabs don't accept anything but cash. The only bank machine I could find was one from Laurentian bank (it's a really popular bank here in Montreal) so I'm like, okay, why not? I fed my card into the machine and it ate it!! The bloody thing didn't even ask for my pin number! So I'm stuck at the mall, hungry, no cash, no debit card, and totally pissed.. grrr!!
I'm going to Seattle today...yay!! Every time I go somewhere with my backpack (the big one I took to Europe), everyone on the metro stares at me! It's probably because of the giant Canadian flag on my pack...they're probably like "where's that girl from? I've never seen that flag before".. speaking of which, I've been here for over 2 months and I have yet to see a Canadian flag. What's with this province??
KK and I went clubbing last weekend. Friday night we went to Orchid...and since I know one of the owners and he's super nice, we got in for free and didn't pay for our drinks.. we had a blast! Saturday night, we met up with Alex and went to 737. It was my first time being there and probably my last. It was sooo annoying trying to dance with people shoving all the time. There were way too many people in the club. The worst was when it started to rain and everyone on the terrasse ran into the club.. I kept thinking of all those clubbing accidents where people get trampled...scary stuff!
