The climbing trip was amazing! Everyone who came loved it and are totally hooked!! We're already starting to organize the next trip (hopefully next week). I have to admit though..the whole idea was a selfish one. I just wanted to have a regular climbing partner.. I didn't expect such a huge turnout and didn't expect people to get so hooked! I figured that once people took lessons and got certified, they were more likely to go again :P Anyhow, it's turned into a big bonding event at ScanSoft and people are now stopping me in the hallway and asking to be added to the climbing mailing list...eek!!! What have I started??! haha! So on Monday I attempted this one wall which has a ceiling that you have to climb across and pull yourself over. It's my nemesis. I got close to the ceiling but lost my grip before I could get on it. GRR!!
Yesterday, I stopped by the Eaton center to buy some gifts for this weekend (Shan's engagement party, and something for Pat...okay, and something for me too :P ). So not only did I get all my gift shopping done, but I also bought some stuff for me, including a pair of velcro shoes...I feel like a goofy 5-year-old wearing them, but I love it!! PLUS, I even managed to go the gym for a 1 1/2 hours...I was on FIRE!
