I did it!!! *MY* product went GA (unofficially) this week. Officially, the GA (general acceptance) is scheduled for Dec 19th.. I'm not sure how much more I can write about this, so I'll leave it at this. I'm not sure if I've written about my latest project... the OSDMs. An OSDM is an Open Speech Dialog Module. It's a fancy way of saying "speech component". These speech components collect speech information from the user and can be strung together to create a speech application. You can collect things like alphanumerics, digits, credit card numbers and expiry dates, natural numbers, currency, zipcodes, social security numbers, phone numbers etc.. You can even collect information from a custom component with it's own grammar. These components abstract away the necessary vxml code so that our solutions group can create customized apps for companies. Interested in more information? Here's the patent number.

I watched the first 3 episodes of the first season of "6 feet under" last night and I'm addicted! I'm such a junkie.. I think I'll get the next set of episodes tonight.
